Offshore vessels engineered for performance

From concept to completion – we design offshore vessels that deliver.

Smart designs for harsh environments

At Hooked Engineering, offshore means more than just open water. It means wind, weather, and real-world constraints – tight ports, tidal shifts, rough seas, and complex installations. Our offshore vessel concepts are tailor-made to meet these conditions head-on.

We work hand-in-hand with operators and yards to create safe, efficient, and highly specialized offshore support vessels. Whether for transport, installation, or service, we engineer each concept to ensure performance, safety, and operability in the most demanding environments.

Deck
Carrier
DC-TOKYO

Designed for use in regions with high tidal range and SPMT loading, the DC-TOKYO is a purpose-built foundation transport vessel for offshore wind projects. With a 3900 m² flush deck, IMO Tier III diesel-electric propulsion, DPS2, and optimized harbour operation systems, it sets new standards in offshore logistics.

Jack-Up
Service
Vessel

A fully electric, energy-recovering jack-up optimized for offshore maintenance and installation. Equipped with a continuous four-leg lifting system and motion stability, it reduces downtime and improves operational comfort.

Offshore Accommodation Vessel (OAV)

Sized and stabilized for technician comfort. This vessel minimizes motion and seasickness risk, enabling safer, more efficient offshore accommodation and transfer operations.

Offshore Installation Vessel FFI

A no-compromise solution for heavy lift installation. With a large working deck, integrated cargo hold, and 8-point mooring, the FFI 3000 is designed for deepwater operations and high-load offshore construction work.

Service Offshore Vessel (OSV)

Designed with a unique stern hangar for daughter boat deployment even in rough conditions. A motion-compensated gangway system allows safe personnel transfers in wave heights up to 2.5 meters.

Jack-Up Installation Vessel JIV 2000

Full crane capacity while afloat and a powerful ballast system enable this vessel to transport and install next-generation offshore wind components without the need for additional vessels.

Offshore design, explained

Our offshore vessel designs are as varied as the challenges they solve. These are some of the most common questions clients ask us when planning offshore design projects.

Do you develop designs for specific regions or environmental conditions?

Can a Hooked Engineering design be adapted to project-specific needs?

Do you support prototype builds or class approval?

What defines your jack-up design approach?

Can your designs integrate dynamic positioning systems?

Do you provide support for construction yards?
